Pricing is calculated from the overall dimensions of a unit, the fabric selected, and the mode of operation. abc Sun Control has attempted to cover the most common items and standard sizes for all of the products that are sold. In determining which size grid cell is utilized in pricing the system, the smallest size in the price book is the minimum cost of that unit. When a unit falls in between the length or width increments listed in this price book, if it is less than half way to the next higher increment, the calculation is rounded down. Conversely, when a unit reaches the mid point or higher between price cells, abc Sun Control will round up to determine the pricing for the unit. There is an additional charge for split or coupled units to cover the additional labor and materials to construct them. If your unit falls outside of our pricing grid, call for pricing and availability or alternate solutions.
The cost breakdown of all orders will be displayed on your confirmation that will be faxed or emailed back to you prior to initiation of production. Please feel free to contact us to discuss any items or questions regarding the project and associated purchase.
Due to the custom nature of the products that we make, verbal orders are not accepted. All orders placed with abc Sun Control, LLC are required to be in writing and it is recommended that orders are completed on a standard abc Sun Control order form for faster processing. Once an order is received, abc Sun Control will review the information for completeness and transfer the information that has been provided onto a work order form containing all unit sizes, fabric specification, and operational controls. Should questions arise during this process or if a specification is missing, abc Sun Control will call to get clarification. A copy of the completed work order will be faxed or emailed back within one business day confirming the order that has been placed along with a projected shipping date. It is the dealer’s responsibility to review this information thoroughly to confirm that it meets the dealer’s specifications. It is recommended that the dealers fax back or email to more than one contact at abc Sun Control, a signed copy of the confirmation within a day of receipt indicating changes if any. If a confirmation is not received within two days of an order submitted, please contact abc Sun Control to confirm that the original order was received and to request a re-faxing or an email of the confirmation.
abc Sun Control is not responsible for specifications submitted by dealers from 3rd party sources (architects, designers, etc.). Since all of the products are made to the dealer’s specifications, it is important that the dealer notify us promptly of any changes to avoid being charged alterations to the order. Once a product has been confirmed and manufactured in accordance with those specifications, it is not probable that the product will meet another order’s specifications. Therefore, the dealer is responsible for any products that have been made and for the cost of any modifications that result from specification changes once materials have been cut less the cost for reusable components such as motors, switches, arms, etc. All changes will be billed on a time and materials basis with a labor charge of $75 per hour.
Credit terms are available to Dealers and Distributors wishing to make recurring purchases on account that have established and maintained credit worthiness that is satisfactory to the company. After acceptance of a completed Credit Application that includes a personal guarantee, abc Sun Control will contact the dealer to establish specific terms. Account purchasing will then be made available after the first “prepaid’ order has been processed and shipped. Please contact abc Sun Control on any questions regarding the account and credit standing.
One Time and First-time Purchases
One-time and First-time purchases will be processed only after full payment has been received. abc Sun Control accepts VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, checks, and money orders.
To minimize freight costs, abc Sun Control will always to attempt to consolidate orders and ship them together, unless our customer requires expedited service on specific orders.
In order to achieve maximum pricing discounts from shipping firms, abc Sun Control Systems will ship all orders freight prepaid unless otherwise directed by the customer. With single order shipments, the freight charge will be added to the product invoice. If multiple orders are shipped, a separate invoice will be generated for the freight charge.
Note: Freight and small package carriers charge an additional fee for residential deliveries or pick ups made from a non-commercial location. These charges can be avoided by picking up products from the carrier’s local service center. Please inform abc Sun Control to have merchandise held at “will call” at the freight terminal for pick up.
Dealers are responsible to inspect all items upon arrival and report any damage to the driver delivering the shipment. Additionally, customers are required to document and photograph all damages and file a damage claim with the shipping company. abc Sun Control Systems will assist our customers in filing freight claims and work with the freight company to resolve any issues quickly.
